Title:The Field of Peace

This painting needed to exist as a response to the heaviness of the world. In times when life feels uncertain or overwhelming, I feel called to create spaces of refuge-places where the spirit can rest, breathe, and remember joy. The Field of Peace was born from that desire to uplift and encourage through color, light, and emotion.
The beach has always been one of my happy places. It represents freedom, renewal, and a quiet promise that peace is still possible.

Living in Florida, I’m surrounded by endless shorelines, each offering its own sense of calm and wonder. This piece reflects my experience of summer here-the warmth of the sun, the brilliance of white and golden sand, the rhythm of the waves, and the expansive blue sky that seems to go on forever.

For me, this painting is about escape-not avoidance, but restoration. It reveals my ongoing artistic journey toward creating work that invites joy, hope, and emotional healing. I want the viewer to step into this scene and feel lightness return, even if only for a moment.
The Field of Peace is an invitation: to pause, to exhale, and to remember that beauty, peace, and promise still exist.
